Associate Pastor / Ministry Center Director
The Role
We’re looking for a pastor-leader with the heart of a shepherd and the mind of a builder. The Associate Pastor / MC Director bridges our local church and Residential Ministry Center, providing pastoral care, spiritual vision, and leadership development across both ministries. You’ll work directly alongside our Senior Pastor as a team member in a hands-on, community-embedded role.
Responsibilities
– Preach, teach, counsel, and provide pastoral care to the congregation and MC residents
– Oversee and mentor MC staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders
– Lead discipleship strategy
– Partner with Elders on budget, strategic direction, and long-term goals
– Represent the ministry to churches, donors, and the community
Qualifications
– Mature Christian with a clear call to pastoral ministry
– Experience in leadership, discipleship, or biblical counseling
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in theology, ministry, or counseling
– Preacher, teacher, and communicator
– Team-builder
– Agreement with the statement of faith of Adirondack Bible Chapel
Compensation
- Total Package $50,000 – $60,000
- Private spacious on-site apartment with utilities included
- Salary $30,000 – $40,000
- Three weeks vacation
- There is the opportunity for your wife to have a part time roll if desired

House Parents
Adirondack Bible Chapel is looking for a Christian married couple to serve as House Parents at our Ministry Center, a 200-acre property in the heart of the Adirondacks where people come to heal, to grow, to serve, and to rest.
This isn’t a program. It’s the church being the church: a family of believers living out the gospel together. As House Parents, you’ll be the warm, steady presence that makes the lodge feel like home.
What You’ll Do
- Share meals, conversation, and everyday life with residents.
- Host community dinners and bonfires every other week, plus a monthly Sunday brunch.
- Husband (40–45 hrs/week): Care for the lodge and grounds, including mowing and minor repairs, and serve as the after-hours contact.
- Wife (20–25 hrs/week): Help with meal planning and groceries, coordinate chores for women residents, and keep the kitchen and common areas welcoming.
You won’t be counselors or disciplinarians. You’ll report to our Executive Director (Pastor) and work alongside our Discipleship & Operations Manager, who handle counseling, discipline, and resident oversight. Your private time and marriage will be protected.

- Genuinely hospitable people with healthy boundaries.
- Able to manage a household, stick to a budget, and handle basic property upkeep.
- In agreement with our statement of faith.

Ministry Interns (3–18 Months)
Adirondack Bible Chapel · Residential Discipleship at the Ministry Center
Are you starting out in ministry and wondering where God is leading you? Adirondack Bible Chapel is looking for Ministry Interns who want to study and serve in pastoral ministry, biblical counseling, and discipleship.
For 3 to 18 months, you’ll live at our Ministry Center, a 200-acre property in the heart of the Adirondacks where people come to heal, to grow, to serve, and to rest. You’ll serve as part of our team and learn ministry the way it’s best learned: hands-on, in community, and with a pastor and team walking alongside you.
What You’ll Experience
- Mentoring with our team.
- Training in pastoral and/or biblical counseling.
- Opportunities to lead devotions, teach Bible studies, and help with preaching and/or teaching.
- Everyday discipleship with residents through meals, work, conversation, and the Word.
- Serving in the life of the local church and working alongside our team on the Ministry Center property.
We’re Looking For
- Believers who love Jesus, His Word, and His church.
- A sense of call to pastoring, counseling, or discipleship.
- Teachable, humble, hard-working team players.
- Recent grads, Bible college or seminary students, and those discerning their call. No prior ministry experience required.
